Coach Aruna dedicates herself to different cause near and dear to her heart in Nepal and US each year!

• • April 25th, 2015 Nepal earthquake Relief: Coach Aruna Started ArunasNepalRelief, INC.a Texas Non Profit Corporation with Ms Garrette’s help.
    Aruna went and did relief work with her then 13 yr old son in the rural villages of Dhading and in the city of Kathmandu, immediately after the 2nd earthquake hit while tremors were still going on and brought her mother to the US who narrowly escaped the 2 large earthquakes. Since then we have done a lot of work here in the US  and Nepal with pet shelters, hurricanes and more.  Go to the link ArunasNepalRelief, INC. to see all our charitable work!
    In 2025 Aruna closed the non profit so coach she could focus fully on coaching but her and TennisBuddys continues to give back.  We are updating our videos under this link. Thank you for your patience you can still read the blogs and view photos.
    
  • 2012 onwards Austin Animal Center foster 
    This particular cause was started by coach Aruna’s son when he was 9 years old and brought all his money from his piggy bank and begged to start fostering like his friend. We fell in love with AAC and what it does for our furry friends and saw hands on how all the funds benefited the animals. We help rescue, foster, adopt animals and also get them adopted, find them good homes after raising them!
    
    Help AAC rescue and foster abandoned, owner surrendered kittens and cats and find them good homes through adoption process. Up to date 10 kittens and 1 cat fostered and put into adoption.
  • 2015 Starting January we Partnered with Animal Nepal
    
    We have helped Animal Nepal with donation funds to help stray dogs and donkey sanctuary in Nepal.
  • American Cancer Society – Pantene Beautiful Lengths “HairUwear” , Wig 4 Kids, Locks of Love, coach Aruna has donated 9 inches of her hair 3 times

    Aruna has donated her long hair several times to different cancer donors who make wigs for cancer patients.
  • Since 2009 Davis Elementary Partner in Education
    You can visit Davis Elementary school to see Coach Aruna’s donation of two full size hallway mural paintings to Davis Elementary school in 2010. She hand painted both murals all by herself which took a few weeks to complete. Tennisbuddys, LLC and coach Aruna also donate tennis balls, fund school programs, donate Free tennis classes for School Auctions and Fundraisers.

• 2004 Donation of FREE Parent/Child Instant Tennis Clinic December 5th and 12th
